I checked out Sunnyside Park while on a jog and discovered that a portion of the boardwalk spanning from the foot of Roncesvalles, west to the Humber River was constructed using planks of recycled plastic.

A blog post mentioning Humber Bay would seem incomplete without a shot of the Humber Bay Arch Bridge.

This new boardwalk (rebuilt sometime in the 1990’s) is incredibly comfortable to run on and will spare you the impact that is often felt when running on solid concrete or pavement.

It would be so great if there could be more surfaces like this to run on in Toronto.
